Grace And Gravity

Posted on Mar 15th, 2008 by Navyo : conscious creative Navyo
Greetings. It's been a while since I posted, and I'm just now adjusting to Gaia and still missing Zaadz. Having recently gotten over the flu :( I managed to complete my film entry for Pangea Day.

Grace And Gravity

This short film, Grace and Gravity, is a collaboration of photographer Jack Gescheidt, videographer Tamar Gurbis, and myself as producer, director, editor and composer.

I call this film a visual poem of the human form gracing old-growth trees. We live with them, and we can't live without them. It is due to the Tree Spirit Project and it's creator, Jack Gescheidt, that this film came about. I feel very blessed to be able to produce this film and showcase his unique project to raise awareness about our interdependence with nature and how we need to protect it, and in such an aesthetic way.

Please enjoy the film and let it be a meditation for you on your own connection and celebration with your source. Unfortunately, it was removed from YouTube as it was deemed "inappropriate" for displaying the human form in an artistic vision that is completely non-sexual. Due to the mainstream nature of Pangea Day, I have concern that this film could be rejected there too.  Because the "message" of this film is so important, I trust the tenderness and beauty of these images can be seen and felt and shown to a much wider audience.

I'd love to hear your feedback on the film. Please feel free to comment.
